Scrapbook of initial letters, [ca. 1900?].

Scrapbook of 172 leaves on which ca. 3,500 ornamental initial letters clipped from unidentified sixteenth and seventeenth century printed books have been pasted down. The alphabet is followed by twelve leaves of printers' ornaments and borders. The volume also includes ca. 35 printers' marks clipped from title pages.
